The first quarter of the year saw solid albums released by The Shins. Modest Mouse, Bloc Party. Amy Winehouse, LCD Soundsystem, and Arcade Fire. Still to come this year:

• ex-Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan has a solo debut Are You Listening? May 15
• Interpol - Our Love To Admire July 10
• Spoon Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga July 10
• The New Pornographers - Challenger August 21
• The Weakerthans next album due out in October
• Metric, release of long-lost debut album Grow Up And Blow Away in June and work on their next album, due out in Spring of 2008.
