No spoilers here, but it's all free in the comments:

Wow. I won't spoil it but that Battlestar Galactica season finale was wild and weird. I've only recently come in to the series in the past season, but that had to be the craziest 20 minute ending to any season of TV I can recall since Nate Fisher's "incident" on that last season of Six Feet Under or the finale of Angel.

I'll put the spoilery thoughts in the comments. Join me, won't you?

Again, wow. The reveals and plots keep pumping. I am so glad I stayed off the TV news sites on Monday until i could watch the show on Monday night. The last 20 minutes with the verdict, the reveal and the re-appearance were just manic:

Those Four Cylons? Wow.

Lee's testimony (that reallly should have been a closing argument rather than delivered on the stand) was stirring. The argument that this little gang masquerading as a civilization, that they're very forgiving when it suits them was brutal and true. They're not a people or a civilization. They're survivors on the raggedy edge, trying to live to see the next morning.

So Starbucks is Moses, leading the Fleet out of the desert? Ooookay. Love or hate her, I want to see where this leads.

The Cylon reveal was a bit telegraphed with the song, but damned if Saul muthafrakking Tigh didn't have the best damn speech of the year:

"My name is Saul Tigh. I am an officer in the Colonial fleet. Whatever else I am, whatever else it means, that's the man I want to be. And if I die today, that's the man I'll be."

God damned right man, god damned right. Great call to loyalty and duty shown in the 4 plus Lee Adama responding to the alarm.

And how twisted is it that The Four were all resistance leaders on New Caprica? Credence to the theory that there's a Cylon civil war maybe.

Alan Sepinwall agreed and has a great review of the ep and the arc, with some interesting theories. Is there a Cylon civil war between the 12? Are any of the humans actually human, or are they all Cylons and humans have been extinct. And how the hell did All Along The Watchtower find its way into the Galacta-verse!?

Battlestar Galactica: Let us not talk falsely now (Sepinwall)

No wonder you guys are hooked on this.

That high-pitched squealing noise you heard around 10:54pm Sunday night was me when Starbuck told Apollo she was going to lead them to Earth. EEee!
